Lately, it seems like the only time I can actually slow myself down long enough to blog is when my body itself is slowing down ... I've been healthy and full of energy since I posted last, but today I'm running a low fever and feeling a bit tired/infected. There are a lot of interesting germs going around campus right now - colds, flu, pneumonia - so hopefully this is just a little sinus infection and not anything serious. I'm babying myself with peppermint tea, Sherlock Holmes, and making cartoon versions of myself ...

This is pretty much exactly what I look like today.
I am not, thankfully, standing on Elsa's mountain.
Nor am I singing "Let It Go." My family is grateful for that.

I have SO many deep, deep thoughts going around in my head these last few weeks ... I'd really like to make full Sunshine and Shadow posts out of them, so I'll refrain here; but know that posts are in the works and coming!!

I am crazy about Tim Hawkins and love all of his work that I've seen, but this video is one of my favorites. His jokes about the different denominations are pretty much spot-on. And his comments on the "Message" Bible? YUSSS. That translation bothers me to no end.
